Through trips like this we forge connections through the universal experience of dance.
The artists of the Latin Ballet will visit the Island of Cozumel and The Yucatan Peninsula from November 19th to 26th, 2019 with our newest work of Enigmas de nuestra Tierra commemorating the 170 years of the Island and inaugurating one of the most popular events in the Yucatan Peninsula, the Iron Man Championship. The Latin Ballet of Virginia will also present the production of VICTOR, The True Spirit of Giving , traveling with Victor Torres, while visiting undeserved urban and rural communities, teaching and performing at rehabilitation centers, hospitals and centers for youth.
Capping off our 2019 Mexican tour, our artists will exchange cultural dance styles with the Mexican National Folklore en la Casa de la Cultura Ixchel and Instituto de la Cultura y las Artes de Quintana Roo.
We aim to forge connections through the universal experience of dance.
We need to raise $10,000 to be able
to make these tours happen.
Every donation to this project helps us promote diversity and overcome the political divisions keeping communities apart.
