Registration Fees and Tuition Payment Policies
A non-refundable registration fee of $31 is due for each individual registering for the upcoming year.
Fall semester is from September to January.
Spring semester is from January to May.
Registration represents a commitment to the full school year, even though tuition is collected in two semester charges.
Registration is not complete, and a student’s place in class is not guaranteed, until all required registration information and the initial payment have been submitted through the online parent portal.
Tuition Payment Policies:
All registration fees and tuition payments are processed through the LBV online parent portal.
Unless an alternative payment arrangement has been approved by LBV in writing:
Fall semester tuition must be paid in full no later than September 15.
Spring semester tuition must be paid in full no later than February 1.
Families who are unable to pay the full semester tuition by these deadlines may request an approved monthly payment plan. A payment-plan request must be submitted and approved before the applicable tuition deadline.
A monthly payment plan divides the semester tuition into smaller scheduled payments. It does not create month-to-month enrollment or reduce the family’s year-long enrollment commitment.
Families are responsible for reviewing their payment schedules and maintaining a valid payment method in the online parent portal.
Late Payments:
Unless an alternative payment arrangement has been approved in writing, fall semester balances remaining after September 15 and spring semester balances remaining after February 1 will be considered past due.
A $25 late fee per student will be added five calendar days after the applicable tuition deadline or approved installment due date. An additional $25 late fee may be added for each subsequent month that the account remains delinquent.
Students with past-due accounts may be temporarily suspended from classes until the balance is paid or a written payment arrangement is approved. Accounts must be current for students to participate in performances.
Discontinuing attendance, removing a payment method, or being suspended from participation does not cancel tuition charges already owed or the family’s year-long enrollment commitment.
A $40 returned-payment fee will be added each time a payment is declined, returned, reversed, or otherwise rejected by a bank or payment provider. This fee is separate from any fee charged directly by the payment provider.
Families experiencing unexpected financial hardship should contact LBV before the payment due date. Alternative arrangements must be approved in writing and are not guaranteed.
Withdrawal Policy:
All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to education@latinballet.com. Informing an instructor, discontinuing attendance, or removing a payment method from the parent portal does not constitute an official withdrawal or cancel the remaining tuition balance.
Tuition and registration fees are nonrefundable. Families remain responsible for the full tuition regardless of whether the student completes the school year. If there are any extenuating circumstances regarding the outstanding balance, you agree to promptly notify LBV in writing.
An exception may be considered in the case of a serious or prolonged illness or injury supported by documentation from a medical provider. Any approved adjustment will be determined by LBV based on the date the written notice and required documentation are received.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY FOR SUMMER CAMP SESSIONS:
In the event that a child is unable to attend the summer camp session due to injury or illness, parents will inform the studio in writing. A complete refund will be given only with receipt of doctors note. Registration fee is not refundable.
If the parent/student cancels the registration within three weeks before the camp session starts, Latin Ballet will refund 50% of the tuition. Registration fee is not refundable.
Missed Classes:
Missed Classes may be made up with any equivalent class of your choice.
