“You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.
I hope someday you’ll join us. And the world will live as one.”
— John Lennon

The Beatles rapidly evolved from producing innocent teenage love lyrics to posing profound questions about reality. They revolutionized popular songs intellectually as well as musically. Their songs and music influenced the world from the sixties to today's life. The longing for more authentic relationships, true love, spiritual peace, political solutions, the eager yet critical embrace of consumer culture, and, most importantly, hope for a brighter future. Give Peace A Chance features our students, faculty, and the professional company of the Latin Ballet of Virginia. The program celebrates a full year of dedication through Contemporary, Classical Ballet, Flamenco, Afro-Cuban, and more.

At its heart, this performance is a reminder that we are not as far apart as we sometimes believe. Beneath it all, we are connected.

Through every step and every rhythm, this evening is not only a performance but an invitation to feel, reflect, and come together. Peace is not distant. It is something we create and something we choose.

So we dance not just to perform, but to remember. To feel. To reconnect.

You may say we’re dreamers, but we’re not the only ones.

And for a moment, we invite you to imagine a world that lives as one.
