The theme of our Arts in Education Summer Camp, Estados Unidos, Estamos Unidos, honors the 250th anniversary of the United States by celebrating unity and the mix of traditions that have shaped our nation. Through arts education, children explore how creativity, cooperation, and respect for one another strengthen communities.
As the Latin Ballet of Virginia celebrates over 20 years of full- and half-day summer camps, we remain committed to high-quality arts education that encourages curiosity, responsibility, and care for the world around us. Camp activities promote respect for our environment, appreciation for history and traditions, and positive civic values through creative expression.
Throughout the week, campers will participate in a wide range of artistic experiences, including classical ballet, flamenco, Latin American dance forms, contemporary dance, and hip-hop. In addition, children will enjoy creative movement, drums and percussion, arts and crafts, storytelling, and collaborative activities designed to support confidence, teamwork, and imagination.
Our summer camp provides a welcoming space where children learn, create, and grow together — strengthening skills in the arts while celebrating what brings us together as a community.

Estamos Unidos! Welcome to our Familia!
Latin Ballet of Virginia is proud to present another summer of fun with a week-long, art education camp in an exciting and unique format! Our Summer Camp Series is sure to boost self-confidence and cultural interests, inspiring children’s self-expression for intellectual growth!
The Latin Ballet of Virginia strongly believes in the arts’ ability to inspire the youth. Students develop notable self-confidence, a sense of discipline and the joy of sharing skills; discovering a greater regard for dance and connecting dance forms to specific language and culture.
All summer camps include classes that explore various dance techniques, including classical ballet, flamenco, Latin American dances, contemporary dance, gymnastics/acrobatics, hip-hop, in addition includes classes such as dance history, creative movement, drums and percussion, arts and crafts, storytelling, and much more.
Our unique program is taught by professional dancers and musicians, of the Latin Ballet of Virginia, who have years of performance and teaching experience to share with each student. Classes are held in professional dance studios and art classrooms. Each of the sessions culminates in a performance by the students, incorporating what they have learned throughout the camp.
