Virtual Field Trips Available Now!

New For 2020-21 School Year

The Latin Ballet of Virginia will not be performing in-person field trips and performances for our Winter Season 2020-2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Virtual field trips connect to classroom curriculum and satisfy state standards. Each virtual experience is fun, social, and educational and includes observations, games, writing, drawing and movement with live Latin Ballet of Virginia artists and educators. We welcome all schools, homeschoolers, and learning pods to participate in a virtual Latin Ballet of Virginia school program.

WHAT TO EXPECT

All of our virtual programs help students understand classroom topics, retain content, build visual literacy, culture, history and traditions.

Programs offered: Virtual performances, multi-day residencies, and full-length story works. Master classes, lecture demonstrations, and other virtual educational/outreach program.

Times and dates: Latin Ballet artists will meet presenter/educator schedule.

  • Duration: 15 minutes to 1 hour

  • Capacity: 50 students maximum
