Master Classes at LBV this Fall!

Join us and learn from some of our best guest performers/choreographers! Guest International Flamenco dancer from Seville, Spain, Francisco Mesa “El Nano” and Colombian renown artist Ginna Milena Pedraza will be in Richmond from October 13 - 20.

Master Classes Schedule:

  • Wednesday, October 12 at 7-8 pm Ginna Milena Pedraza - Colombian Folklore at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen

  • Monday, October 17th - 5 to 7 pm Francisco Mesa “El Nano" - FLAMENCO (Different Palos (Rhythms) Techniques).

  • Monday, October 17th - 7-8 pm Ginna Milena Pedraza - Colombian Folklore

  • Wednesday, October 19th - 6 to 8 pm - Flamenco technique and choreography

No Experience in Flamenco and/or Colombian Folklore is needed
OPEN to ALL Dancers and Levels of technique!

Company class: Flamenco choreography - LBV Company dancers only
Saturday, October 15th Ginna Milena Pedraza and Francisco Mesa “El Nano” will join the Latin Ballet professional company performing ALMA LATINA at Piedmont Virginia Community College, Charlottesville, VA

We are so saddened we cannot perform this year on the streets at our beloved Qué Pasa? Festival, but not to worry folks, we will be featured every Tuesday for the whole month (September 15-October 15) virtually! So don’t miss us and dance with us from your living rooms and let’s celebrate the vibrant Hispanic culture of RVA! Don’t forget to support your local Latin business owners!

Friday, May 18, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:30PM: Enjoy a special Richmond Symphony Evening Performance under the Big Tent with world-renowned Latin dance band, Bio Ritmo!

Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 12:30 – 7:30PM: Join us for a Family Day including performances by: Richmond Public Schools and Legacy Band, culminating with a Dance Party with DJ Missing! Other activities are still in the works but are likely to include a skateboard competition in the skate park, a community art gallery showcasing work from local students and schools, and a Kid’s Zone you won’t want to miss!
